And there I've spent the whole day in a fruitless search for fireworks when I should just have come here.

Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Slough
It isn't fit for humans now,
There isn't grass to graze a cow
Swarm over, Death!
It's one of those poems you know the first line or so to, I just found the full text here.
I've been there a couple of times now and I think I can understand. It has a BMX track though.

Bought a new bike I don't need one, but I bought it anyway. Now I've just got to make the time to use it.

Just been to see Pearl Harbour, but I think that Tora! Tora! Tora! (now on DVD, I notice) was a better film, concentrating on the real issues of the battle rather than some hackneyed love story.

I've been getting a bit nostalgic for the early nineties, so I'm checking out Carter USM related sites.
