Interactive Snowboard
Hammacher Schlemmer offer an interactive snowboard simulator that plugs into the TV. The game modes sound like they're from SSX. They also offer a virtual reality snowboard, VR skateboard simulator and, erm, a golf simulator.
I think I'd rather have a balance board, but that's because we don't have a TV.

Green boards and white hills

Following the post on Mount Seymour, it seems the European mountains are open as well. Hippyshopper recommends going green down the slopes with a board from Arbor, made from wood sourced from environmentally friendly sources and with a percentage of profits given to charity.

It seems the winter season has opened at Mount Seymour in Vancouver, and no doubt across the whole of North America. I haven't seen anything about the European resorts yet.

Northern Ski and Snowboard Show
I didn't know what to expect from this show, but it was a little disappointing to pay £7.50 for the privilege of walking round a room full of sales booths. there was still a lot of interesting stuff, and I'm going to be adding interesting finds for the rest of the week. For now, here are a few pictures-
