£18k bike heist at Hamsterley hire centre

Wood n' Wheels, the new cycle hire centre and bike shop at Hamsterley Forest, near Bishop Auckland, County Durham, was struck by thieves in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Amongst the plunder were 31 bikes, some rare in the UK. They include Norcos (Six-Twos, Shore 3, Sasquatch and Big Foot), two Magura test bikes (small/medium sizes) and a Gary Fisher Fat Possum (XO model).
"It's a set-back," said Martin Stout of Wood n' Wheels.
